Where do adventurous hearts go ?
Does the question seems familiar to you?
"Where do broken hearts go?"
to
""Where do adventurous hearts go?"
If you watched "That thing called tadhana", remember
the scene where Mace and Anthony screaming their lungs out?
This was the place and it's called "Kiltepan Sunrise View".
(Landmark: Petron)
From Sagada town proper to Kiltepan is 3.2 km since there is no
tricycle or public jeeps you have to walk and wake-up early to witness
the breath-taking view. Luckily, the inn where we stayed was only 1 km
away from Kiltepan and 12-13 minutes drive only.
From Petron, you have your own options to trek or
drive up until at the peak. Visiting the Kiltepan Sunrise View is free
and doesn't need a guide you just have to follow the path.
all these pine trees and fogs gives me a twilight vibes
From here, it will take few more steps
to reach the peak.
Since a lot of tourists came here early as 5 am (or maybe earlier) there
are stores selling hot coffee, hot chocolate and cup noodles.
We reached the peak at 6:00 am and there are already
a lot of tourist in the area.
By 7:00 am some tourists are gone and we had
the whole area by ourselves.
The vendors are also packing their stuffs and cleaning.
There was also a kid picking garbage like plastic spoons and cups
and burning them to retain the cleanliness of the area.
I'm not being a hypocrite but it really makes me upset that the tourists
don't know how to keep this wonderful place clean by doing "leave no trace".
This place made me realized how alluring the nature is.
Thanks for droppin' by!
See you on my next post! :)
